Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Wedding Weekend Celebration, Travel, Accommodations, Attire, and Guest Experience.

Whom Should We Contact With Questions?

For any wedding weekend questions, travel assistance, or concierge needs, guests may contact Makers House™ and Creative Director Josh Merideth directly through the “Have Questions” section of the website or by phone at (502) 592-5671.

Is Transportation Provided?

Yes. Transportation will be provided for guests from The Brown Hotel to the wedding ceremony, and following the ceremony, transportation will return guests to The Brown Hotel for the reception. Additional transportation details will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

What Is The Wedding Day Attire?

Attire for the wedding is Black Tie Preferred. Gentlemen are requested to wear tuxedos, or dark colored suits while ladies are invited to wear floor-length gowns or elegant formal evening attire. Most importantly, please know that your presence is what matters most to us. Whether you’re in a tuxedo, a gown, or your finest formal attire, we’re grateful you’ll be part of this unforgettable day.

Are Children Invited?

While we adore your little ones, due to the nature of our New Year's Eve celebration, the wedding and reception will be an adults-only occasion. We kindly request that guests make arrangements accordingly and thank you for your understanding. We look forward to celebrating this special evening with you.

Ceremony Details:

Our ceremony is very important to us and will be hosted at the historic Cathedral Of The Assumption Catholic Church and we will celebrate with a half mass. Cocktails, dinner and dancing will follow at the Brown Hotel.
